On this page we explain how we deal with your personal data and which cookies are placed by ourselves and third parties.

Privacy is a great thing, because privacy is about personal freedom. Your privacy is also a great asset for us. If you make personal information available to us, you do so because you trust us. It is for us self-evident that we only process your data in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other applicable laws and regulations in the field of the protection of personal data. This privacy statement describes how we deal with, among other things, personal data, cookies and security.

Purposes

We process and collect personal data in order to provide you with the best possible service. In addition, we will keep you informed of developments within Murara Plants Kenya. We offer a number of services for which the use of personal data is necessary, namely a contact form, a job-application form and when signing up for the newsletter. All personal data collected by means of this website will be processed in accordance with the GDPR.

Which data do we collect?

In principle, we do not collect personal data unless these are provided by you by means of our contact form, our application form or when signing up for the newsletter.
In addition, like virtually every website, we collect general data that can not be traced back to a person from the visitors of our website. You should think of data such as the time of the visit to our website, which pages were visited and the browser which was used to visit our website. These are statistically anonymous data that are only used to optimize the website.

The number of employees who have access to your personal information is limited to a select group of employees who are specially authorized for this purpose. These employees are granted access to your personal information as far as they need this information to perform their tasks properly (“need to know”). Moreover, a duty of confidentiality has been contractually agreed with all these employees.

How long do we keep your personal data?

The data included in the contact form will be saved for as long as is necessary to answer your question or to be able to serve you in the right way. After this we will delete your personal data. Contact details we receive by means of the job-application form are retained until four weeks after the closing of the vacancy.

Provision to third parties

Your personal data will not be provided or shared with third parties, unless this exchange takes place when this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Security and storage

We work hard to protect your privacy and we have taken important measures to secure this. We have appointed employees who are responsible for the security of our network, the supporting infrastructure and our information systems. We have implemented solutions to protect personal information. These solutions consist of all kinds of technical and policy solutions that vary, depending on the services or products offered or provided to you. These solutions can include security with help of a password, encryption, firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, anomaly detection and access controls for our employees.

Removal, addition, correction, inspection

It is evident you have the right at any time – in line with the GDPR – to inspect, correct, supplement or delete your own personal data. Requests can be sent to: murara@muraraplants.co.ke. A request to inspect, change or delete the personal data will be handled within a period of 4 weeks (in writing).

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small files which are stored on your computer. The cookies we use can be distinguished in functionality and analytics cookies.

Functionality cookies

The functionality cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the website. These functionality cookies can not be disabled, because otherwise the website does not work properly. We do not need your permission for these and you will not see annoying pop-ups when you open our site.
